Food supplement. It may be useful as support in a situation of prostatic hypertrophy with decreased sexual desire and difficulty urinating. The components Prunus and Serenoa have antioxidant action.

PHYTOMEN 3 months (for 1 cps): Prunus - Prunus africana Kalkman (bark) powder 153 mg, Serenoa - Serenoa repens Small. (fruit) extract standardized to 25% fatty acids 100 mg, zinc gluconate 17 mg, natural gelatin.
5 CAPSULES PROVIDE: 10mg of zinc (100% NRV*), 125 mg of fatty acids.

According to studies, Prunus africana (Pygeum africanum), an evergreen plant that grows in the highlands of Africa, rich in phytosterols, shows anti-inflammatory properties because it prevents the accumulation of inflammatory prostaglandins in the prostate, responsible for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH); other components have anti-edema and decongestant action.
Serenoa repens, according to studies, is believed to prevent and alleviate various conditions related to the urological-sexual sphere, including prostate enlargement (or benign prostatic hyperplasia), chronic pelvic pain, various bladder disorders, decreased sexual desire, and hormonal imbalances.
