Serenoa repens, according to studies, is believed to prevent and alleviate various conditions related to the urological-sexual sphere, including prostate enlargement (or benign prostatic hyperplasia), chronic pelvic pain, various bladder disorders, decreased sexual desire, and hormonal imbalances.
