Acerola is one of the richest fruits in natural Vitamin C in nature. Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and the normal formation of collagen for blood vessels, skin, bones, and teeth. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and the increased absorption of non-heme iron. The natural matrix also provides synergistic bioflavonoids.
